Viola grew up as a farmers daughter in Tillamook. Being a middle child with a couple older brothers, she learned the art of negotiation, flexibility, and quick problem solving skills at a young age. These skills have been useful in 24 years of marriage, through raising teenagers, and working at DHS as an adoption worker. 2021 has brought retirement from DHS and time to explore new interests.
