VICKI HUBERJesus follower, wife, mama.
Likes: Family dinners, travel, crocheting, puzzles, a full house, and a cozy chair by the fire. Dislikes: Coffee, being cold, dishes, and onions. Vicki was born and raised in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon where she grew to love rainstorms, camping and exploring nature. She loves exploring and traveling with her husband, Carlos and two daughters, Emily and Alyssa, but always loves to come back home to rainy Oregon. For several years she worked in accounting, eventually self employed, while she cared for her daughters. When they both entered grade school she began a position at their school working with special needs students. Here she witnessed first hand how a safe adult can impact a child’s life drastically. After some time at home through the pandemic, Vicki and Carlos began their journey as foster parents providing welcoming, safe care. She followed Salem Angels’ growth through her own foster parenting experience and when she saw an opportunity to join the team she jumped at the chance to be a part. She loves knowing her experience in accounting can further the Salem Angels’ mission. |
