Dena Beyrouty
Wife, mom of two, sister, loyal friend, foodie, coffee lover, explorer/traveler, and a sports fan.
Likes: Trying new things, the ocean, lakes, rivers (anything water), coffee, tea, food, travel, flowers, long walks, talking on the phone, hugs, watching my kids do what they love, and spending time with friends and family. Dislikes: Being cold, mean people, limp handshakes, and glitter. Dena was born in Portland, Oregon, but grew up in Bend, Oregon. She played college volleyball at Mount Hood Community College, and there she met her husband Jason. They both transferred to Southern Oregon University where Jason got a psychology degree and Dena got her business degree in marketing. After graduating they moved to the East Coast, and in 1995 they returned to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is grateful to be able to experience both coast lines since they are so vastly different, but beautiful in their own ways. In 2000 their daughter Quincy blessed the family, and in 2002 their son Sawyer completed the family. Jason and Dena have been married for close to 30 years. Dena has always had a passion for children, babysitting at a young age and after college being a nanny to pay off her college loans. Then as a mom of her own, she was always involved with the kids’ schools, part of the Boys and Girls Club, as well as Family Building Blocks. Now that both of their children are in college, Dena has been able to start looking at the next chapter in her life…..which led her to Salem Angels. She currently is on the board as Corporate Relations Director, and has been involved with two Love Box families as well as a Dare to Dream mentor to two amazing girls. Salem Angles' programs have been life changing for Dena. Being the Corporate Relations Director has allowed Dena to be intimately involved with our wonderful community. This has spearheaded Dena to start her own employee benefit practice here in Salem. She will continue to promote Salem Angels as well as run Beyrouty Employee Benefits, and continue to work and give back to Salem. |
