CORY SWARTWOUT

Son, brother, uncle, friend, adventure seeker, and lover of life. 

Likes: Family, Grey’s Anatomy, waterfalls, camping, being on/in the water, coffee, FOOD, dancing, traveling, all four seasons, and good vibes.
Dislikes: Heights, unkind people, cartoons, figuring out what to have for dinner and bad vibes.

Cory was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. He is the second youngest to a family of six kids. After graduating early from high school, he started working with the silly desire to be an adult. Through his work in community outreach, he became involved with Salem Angels and learned of the impact that SA had on the foster community. Although Cory no longer does this line of work, his passion for community has kept him involved. 

Although Cory has spent most of his life here in Salem, he has no plans to go anywhere else. “What’s not to love about Salem!? You travel an hour or two in any direction, and you get to experience a completely different part of this beautiful Pacific Northwest.” With his love for Salem comes a desire to help make our community better.
