About the event
SOAR is an annual gathering where our community comes together with one purpose: to stand beside children, youth, and families navigating foster care.
This special evening brings people around the table to share a beautiful dinner, meaningful connection, and powerful stories of resilience, mentorship, and radical support. Throughout the night, guests experience firsthand how Love Box families, Dare to Dream mentors, volunteers, donors, and community partners are helping create stability and belonging for foster families and youth across Marion and Polk County.
SOAR is more than a gala. It is a celebration of what happens when a community says yes.

As we celebrate the impact made through Salem Angels, we also look ahead with purpose: to expand the circle, deepen the work, and continue building a community where every child, youth, and family impacted by foster care feels seen, supported, and surrounded.
