Likes: all things encompassing Art, live music, dancing, finding new places to explore, comedy and WES ANDERSON films. Dislikes: BBQ sauce, people chewing with their mouth open, large forks, and sticky hands. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She received her associate's degree from Moody Northwest. She worked at Starbucks and the IKE Box before entering healthcare, where she discovered a passion for caring for chronically ill respiratory patients. With the encouragement of her former boss, she completed her Respiratory Therapy degree from Concorde Career College. In 2014, she welcomed three children into their forever home. She worked full-time as a Respiratory Therapist until 2020, when she and her family moved to Papua, Indonesia. Returning to Salem in 2022, Angie began working in the Oregon Legislature, where she enjoyed connecting with people of all backgrounds. A lifelong community builder, Angie is excited to join Salem Angels and share her experience as a foster-adoptive mother. |
